 Intervention Programs for Children Victims of Violence

At the international level, there has already been reached an agreement regarding the necessity of developing evidence-based intervention programs, in the field of prevention and elimination of violence against children. Any approach of this social problem without knowing its dimension and the sociocultural specific of the manifestation context, presents the risk of being just a compliance with the intervention programs established by the competent authorities from the national and international level, and not a realistic approach of the phenomenon. In this context, this article aims to present and to analyse in a comparative „key” some evidence-based intervention programs, underpinning the role and the importance of the social worker in solving such cases.
