Intimate partner violence is at the same time a current and old problem that women face regardless of their age, education, social or economical background. Accessing the social services of support is a major step for the victims in their fight against this phenomenon. Thus, identifying and analyzing the causes that 'prevent' victims to leave abusive relationships and seek support may help us improve or create proper social services of support, or even adopt a legislation that would support victims in freeing themselves from their aggressors.
