The State of the Roma population in 1998 in Romania

The present paper deals with the result of the “Centre of Social Actions Resource” which was started as a result of the necessity of studying the social problems that the Roma population deals with and the social policies that they benefit from. Another purpose of the project was to make public the data regarding the problem of Roma, which is highly important for the Romanian society in transition.
