The Social Work Review is not a new editorial. It is the continuous tradition of very good social work journalism which was initiated by the Sociological School from Bucharest under the coordination of Dimitrie Gusti. It constantly appeared ever since 1929 until 1936 as a periodical. Social Work Journal imposed itself efficiently as means of communication between the specialists, having a major research function by publishing theories, studies and reviews with applicative value in social work practice.
