Romanian Association for Promoting Social Work (ARPAS

The non-governmental and non-profit organisation Romanian Association for Promoting Social Work was established on 4th of July 1992 as a result of the National Symposium from Sighişoara entitled Social Work Role in Romania which was organised by University of Bucharest, Social Work Department along with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, supported by UNICEF – Romanian representation.
