 Jumbled Justice Radio: Reflections on an Academic’s Experiences Hosting a Weekly Broadcast

The Blog Talk Radio network on the Internet provides faculty, organizations, and other groups the remarkable opportunity to broadcast a daily or weekly radio show in high fidelity audio worldwide to an unlimited number of listeners and the cost is free. The author describes his experiences in planning and hosting more than 180 radio shows on crime, justice, and other social service topics since October of 2006. Faculty can use the Blog Talk Radio site to interview professionals in their fields, converse with students in their classes, present class lectures that are archived for later use, host an entire course, plan and develop audio book content for publication, and share their expertise and research to listeners around the world.
