The phenomenon of homeless adults in large cities is on the rise. The cause may be the absence of social resources, their poor allocation, or the attraction of big cities to the needy. Beyond comfort and shelter, the home represents stability, balance and foundation for social and professional life. Without this foundation, homeless people are subject to the most severe forms of social exclusion. The present study aimed at highlighting current trends in working with homeless adults, as experienced by professionals working directly with this category of beneficiaries.
