The professional integration of HIV-positive people is a topical issue that faces difficulties and copes with the society's preconceptions, mentality, discrimination, lack of openness and information on HIV/AIDS issues. The integration strategy implies that there is a subject that needs integration and at the same time, there are difficulties in the integration process. Taking into account the efforts made on a global, European, national and local level to promote the rights of this category of people, it is noted that social justice still has to face inequality caused by: status differences, education, access to promotion measures and health support, material means, social services and, last but not least, inequality caused by the labor market. The present paper highlights the concrete issues and barriers encountered by HIV-positive people in their process of integration into the labour market.
