Among the major risks of social exclusion and inequality are: the major changes on the labour market, modification of the demographic structure and the growth of the ethic diversity, growth of the technology importance, modification in family structure, as well as the role of man and woman in the family. Also the risk of social exclusion and the risk of maintaining poverty on long or short term is determined by the following individual factors: long term unemployment, low income or the lack of income, poorly paid jobs, lack of a place to live or precarious place of living, status of immigrant, reduced professional qualification, disability, drug or alcohol addiction, affiliation to poor/ marginalised communities, low level of education and illiteracy, and child care in vulnerable families.
