The COVID-19 pandemic is still an ongoing global pandemic that has impacted almost everything at global level, bringing about discrimination, lifestyle change, and prejudice. Science academics and social work specialists have explored pandemic occurrences and have emphasised the need for interventions in almost all fields of human activity, among which child care, crime, education, governance, industrialisation, leisure, medicine, recreation, resource consumption, sport, transport, travel, and worship. This paper defines crisis, crisis intervention, and the types of crisis intervention in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, pointing out the most pregnant concerns of humanity in this new social context.
