Vulnerable Groups and Social Control

The social and cultural identity of vulnerable groups differentiates them from the mainstream representations and behaviors. They have specific responses to social challenges which could contradict general regulations and laws. Even the assistance measures could be difficult to implement due the differences of norms and values. What response should be adopted in terms of public policies and how authorities should collaborate with scientific world and professionals to solve these challenges are the aims of this issue.
