Instructions for authors

General conditions: Social Work Review publishes original articles both in Romanian and English from al areas of social work. Are accepted innovative articles, research articles, analysis of policies, practices and their implications for social workers. Studies with a comparative dimension or those reflecting the relevance of the studied topic for other contexts and geograpfical areas are encouraged.

Types of articles: articles between 4,000 and 8,000 words and in exceptional cases up to 10,000 words. Recommendations: original articles 4,000 - 8,000 words; research articles 2,000 – 4,000 words; book reviews: up to 1,500 words.

Instructions for authors: authors are required to send articles by e-mail as two separate files, preferably in MS Word format, Font Times New Roman, 12 pts., double-spaced. One complete file, including title, name of author(s), institutional affiliation, corresponding address, abstract (no more than 250 words) and keywords (up to 5) relevant for the domain in English. A second files, without identification data of author(s), without abstract and keywords. If there are tables, graphs, pictures these must be numberred and sent as separate files.

References: will comply with APA style (American Psychological Association: http://www.apastyle.org/). References are included with the text, in brackets, such as (author, year, page). At the end of the article, full references are provided, titles of books and journals with Italic font, and titles of titles of articles in journals and as book chapters will have normal fonts.
Reproducing partial or full articles without written agreement from the Editorial team is forbidden. All articles are subject to double blind peer-review. The editorial team is undertaking the first selection of articles, before being sent to at least 2 referees.
