Studiu privind consumul de tutun în rândul adolescenților dintr-un liceu din Bucureşti şi unul din Bacău [Study on Tobacco use Among Adolescents in a High School in Bucharest and One in Bacau]

Tobacco use is one of the most common addictive phenomena. So, when it comes to tobacco use, we have learned that there are 3 types of tobacco addiction and a multitude of products containing nicotine, including several food products. Last but not least, we found out what the effects of tobacco use are for first, second and third hand smokers. The findings showed that the research results are consistent with theoretical information. The only differences showed that the effects of second or third hand smoking affect not only physical health, but also mental health (one non-smoking student from Bacău answered that he felt vulnerable, not being safe with his peer group who smoked, thinking of leaving it – from this answer we can see that this respondent was affected psycho-emotionally). Also, the analysis of the questionnaire results showed that high school students consume the new nicotine products on the market: „Elf Bar” – electronic cigarettes and „Fiit” – heated tobacco cigarettes.
