Social Worker Role Regarding Child Social-Educational Integration

    by:
  • Gheorghiţa Lazăr (LECTURER. PH.D.)

The ending of the last century was related for the specialists from social-humanistic field with a new challenge regarding child education, i.e. the multi perspective approach of family roles and the fulfilment of parental roles in case that:
1. The parent is the only or the main person responsible to support and educate the child
2. The parent lives separately from the child
3. The adult becomes parent for an adopted child, therefore he has other natural parents
The concept of mono-parental family is no longer regarded as a family deviation, but is considered an alternative to the classic and traditional pattern. Therefore, the scientific terminology pinpoints the normalization of the phenomena due to this family behaviour which is more and more popular in the nowadays societies.

Keywords: child education, family roles
