Social Worker Involvement in Preventing Child Abandonment

The transformation process initiated in Republic of Moldova in the early 90’s was accompanied by economic crisis which was prolonged with negative resonances from social point of view. The main consequences lay in the negative effects produced over family and child by growth of family disintegration, increase of child abandonment cases, family abuse, children without families, emigrant people, etc.
