The issue of children’s rights adopted a considerable dimension in the Romanian society being a consequence of the social-economical processes during the transition period, meaning the negative effects manifested through the occurrence and extend of the “street children” phenomena. The amplification of the participation of children in delinquent, antisocial acts, the growth of the degree of violence and insecurity in intra-family, school or group milieu, the increase of the victimization risk, insufficient guarding and protection programs, including measurements of adoption are all present in nowadays society.
