The author of this study investigates the triangle of influence between Generation Alphha, technology, and social work. Generation Alpha is defined and characterised from three perspectives. Technology is defined and the relationship between Generation alpha and technology is analysed from an educational perspective (education is the common element of all age ranges including kids, children, teenagers, and young people, i.e., the population subjected to social work services). The author approaches children around the world and Romanian children from the perspectives of technological devices used, global differences, opportunities, risks, and purposes in the use of technology. Social work is analysed from a double perspective – theoretical and practical – the latter with focus on what Romanian social work should do about Alphas and technology.
