Alexandra Dobre (2024), București: Tritonic, 430 de pagini
Alexandra Dobre’s book brings to the forefront an issue that concerns both the academic and the professional world: the third age, good practices and policies in the field in all possible aspects and dimensions: housing, transportation, health services, access to technology and information, civic and social participation. This work is on the borderline between administrative sciences and social work, which leads us to one overriding aspiration: the development of age-friendly social policies. But, in addition to this, we also need to develop smart urban ecosystems to ensure that the elderly have the best possible quality of life. In other words, smart urban governance, as the author elegantly puts it.
