In the human services there is not possible a distinction between theory and practice. Actually, the practice represents the process of using knowledge and to apply the theory in order to make a difference. Practice without theory has a tendency to become repetitive and sterile, whereas a theory without the practices of reality usually becomes interesting and irrelevant.
