Background/ Context: The current study aims to identify in a population of probation drug offenders from Romania both some relevant correlations between risk and needs factors that led to some categories of specific recommended programs and also some attitudes regarding their lifestyle.

Methodology: Our study involved two components:- First, an analysis in the case of a group of drug probationers (N=2986) based on a number of significant correlations between the type of the drug offence and the risk factors that belong to the SERN model (Risk and Needs Evaluation Scale).- Second, a qualitative analysis regarding the lifestyle of probation drug offenders (N=68). This feature of our research aimed to evaluate not the drug related behavior but the lifestyle in general.

Results: Quantitative feature - There are certain differences between the consumers and other drug offenders; Qualitative feature - There are just few drug offenders that identify the drugs as personal issues.

Conclusions: The quantitative research revealed different behavioral typologies. From the interviews, our findings reflects that the drug probationers are mainly interested in hobbies, sleep issues, family but less interested in stopping drug-related activities
