In February 2006 the UN Committee for social development made known the preliminary results (frequencies) of a new stage of development included in the program initiated in 2004 regarding the adoption of the Standard Rules regarding Opportunity Equality for Disabled People Worldwide. The 22 rules accepted by UN on 20th of December 1993 offer an adequate environment for special social programs addressed to people with disabilities regarding their full participation at the social life and the widening of social equality.
